Table for sale..
Finally got this table finished, and it's for sale. Bird's eye maple top, maple carcass and walnut drawers. 21"hx17.5"dx16"w. dimensions were set to be a bedside or sofa table. drawer depths (inside) are 5", 4" and 3".
Hand cut mortise and tenons, and lap joint construction throughout the piece. The walnut grain wraps around the drawers and the Bird's eye top is amazing to look at in person. there's no photo that can do it justice.

The Black Stacks
Now that winter is over I've been back in the shop building some stuff. first out of the gates are the Black Stacks.
Pine drawer stacks that are 30" and 36" high, by 18"x24" deep. Each stack has 2 cedar drawers for storing wool items. Fir drawer slides and solid jointery throughout.
Black stain and a water based finish round it all out.
bit of awkward light but you get the point. The stacks were too big to photograph (together) anywhere else but installed.

this little table has been taking some time. Had a baby this summer so it's been slowing down the major projects. But this guy is ready for finishing.
